Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable GYTS53 Direct Buried Stranded Loose Tube Armored Cable
Description
The GYTS53 cable contains single-mode/multimode fibers that are placed in loose tubes. These tubes are filled with a water-blocking filling compound, and both the tubes and fillers are then stranded around the strength member to form a circular cable core. A Plastic Steel Plastic (PSP) is applied to protect the core, which is also filled with the filling compound. Finally, a thin PE sheath is added to complete the cable. The PSP is applied over the inner sheath, and then the cable is finished with a PE outer sheath.
Features
To ensure the cable's water blocking performance, the following measures are taken: a single steel wire is used as the central strength member, a special water-blocking filling compound is used in the loose tube, and the cable core is 100% filled, with an APL and PSP moisture barrier.
