OPGW-96B1 96 Core Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire
OPGW is a specialized cable structure that combines optical transmission capabilities with overhead ground wire functionality for power transmission systems. This dual-purpose solution serves both as an optical fiber cable and an overhead ground wire, providing protection against lightning strikes and conducting short circuit currents. The overhead ground wire component consists of aluminum-clad steel wire (AS) and stainless steel tubes containing optical fibers.
